Locum to Permanent Psychiatry Child Physician - Medical Search LLC (Poughkeepsie, NY)

Inpatient facility in New York has a need for Child/Adolescent Psychiatry starting now to June 10

Board certified or board eligible physicians in adolescent psychiatry required.

Prefer fellowship training in adolescent psychiatry.

150.00 hour rate and more for working OT or call.

Child/Adolescent Unit has 12 beds and patients range in ages from 6-18.
7-10 days is the average length of patient stays.
Daily duties include covering 8-10 inpatients plus consults on the floors and ER (adults and/or children)
Charting is electronic
H&P's are done electronically and H&P’s are performed on all admissions within 24 hours
(physician’s who prefer not to perform H&P’s, can be accommodated)
Schedule is M-F – 8:30-5pm
Call – 1:4 weekends (rounds on both units)
1:4 weeknights
They have furnished housing that is very comfortable and within walking distance to the facility.
