Night Counselor-Part Time 185th Street,NY NIGHT COUNSELOR- PART TIME Responsible for performing surveillance of premises and resident activity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. . Making hourly tours of the facility . Recording all pertinent activities or incidents in activity report . Provides counseling and supervision and handles after hours incidents, as required . Monitor medication . Make constant security runs and bed checks . Good work ethics during the overnight stay awake shift. . Aware/alert on duty surveillance of premises and resident movement. . Provide accurate and up-to-date documentation and record keeping. . Maintain and enforce Phoenix House policies and procedures. . Attend staff meetings, trainings and conferences. . Perform random drug urinalysis testing of residents. . Report inappropriate behavior of residents. . Provide telephone back up as needed. Qualifications . High School Diploma .
