Parking Attendant - Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York, NY)

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is the worlds oldest and largest private institution devoted to the prevention, treatment, and cure of cancer. The Parking Attendantis responsible for parking cars and providing prompt courteous service to all patrons. Additional responsibilities include: * Assist in general maintenance tasks as assigned by the garage Manager and/or Lead including patrol of the facility, collection of garbage, and cleaning of the attendants booth and locker room. * Operate automated ticketing system to process customer tickets in and out of the facility. * Perform cashiering functions on occasion, i.e., make correct change, completing daily shift reports, when required by Manager or Lead. Qualifications * H.S. Diploma/GED preferred * Valid Drivers license & experience operating manual and automatic transmission * Outstanding Customer Service Experience and strong teamwork skills are critical * Constantly walking/running when parking and retrieving vehicles, excellent audio/visual concentration when maneuvering vehicles within the facility, and lifting and pulling of locked or stalled vehicles blocking the traffic flow is required. * Must be comfortable working in underground parking facility with fluorescent lighting; climate dependent on outside conditions and exposure to vehicle exhaust.
