SAP FICO Finance OwnerMostly functionalmust have been technically strong in the past NYC Our client is looking for a SAP Center of Excellence lead (IT role) supporting all Finance functional leads globally They are looking for someone strong in FICOFA and P2P is a huge plus from a product oriented company This person will be the liasion with the business and work with the outsourced team that handles all development and configuration There might be some configuration in this role but it is mainly for someone with strong finance from the SAP perspective who can own all level 1 support and any new SAP initiatives for that area They will work closely with all finance owners globally and must have a deep understanding of FICO and have completed multiple implementations with strong configuration experience and would now like to have a career path that might lead to the business side or a leadership role This individual must have strong communication skills and have the ability to converse with the business in their terms translating the technical terminology This individual will the the business point person for rolling out new or updated initiatives or changes determine the SAP impact and own the execution Knowing the Purchase Requisitions to pay process is a huge plus since finance and procurement are directly related This individual will own the full support from working directly with the business globally including project management functional and technical solution design configuration production support change management documentation trouble shooting and training Indepth knowledge of FICOFA modules a must Additionally should be able to perform business process analysis and work with business facing teams to identify areas for improvement and better utilization of SAP R3 Participate with integration of related SAP functions and provide support for related IT and business initiatives Position Requirements 5+ years experience implementingsupporting SAP R3 in FICOFAP2P area Indepth experience implementing applications Strong communications and relationship skills Project planning skills Strong analytical and conceptual skills Full lifecycle implementation experience Experienced configuring sales purchase requisition to pay processes Good understanding backed by experience of each of the Finance applications Good understanding of SAP EDI (iDoc) monitoring pertaining to FI interface a must Knowledge of data conversion tools like LSMW a must Ability to advise on process accountability data monitoring exception monitoring data grouping and prioritizing and process data analysis Proficiency with business software (Word Excel Power Point) Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT engineering business Minimum Education Required Bachelor More than 5 yearsrsquo experience required Occasional travel
