Title: Transaction Advisory Services Manager - Valuation - Capital Equipment - New YorkLocation: NY-New YorkThe position is in the Capital Equipment ValuationGroup in Ernst & Young's Valuation and Business Modeling practice within TransactionAdvisory Services. The groupincorporates engineering and financial aptitudes to develop valuation analysesfor manufacturing operations and their assets for Fortune 500 clients. The primary role of the valuation manager isto serve as a lead member of the fixed asset discipline in support of a globalclient engagement team consisting of other valuation disciplines and clientrelationship executives. The role is responsible for performing valuations for suchthings as mergers and acquisitions, management planning, tax and financialreporting purposes, leasing, and litigation purposes. Our engagement managers are integrated into multidisciplineengagement teams to: develop proposals and client facing presentations, leadand coordinate the development of valuation models/analyses as well as reports,lead client diligence discussions and processes, ensure quality and riskmeasures have been met on engagements, mentor a team of professionals, andcoordinate client administrative functions such as billings and receivables. Domestic and international travel should beexpected (approx 20-40%). Typical travelschedules vary, but are typically in 1-3 day increments. To qualify, candidates must have:* Fixed asset valuation experience - minimum of6 to 7 years overall experience and at least 1-2 years experience as anengagement manager on fixed asset valuation assignments.* Project management and organizational skillsto manage multiple teams* o Highly effective communication skills -written and oral* o Quantitative and qualitative analyticalskills* o Significant working knowledge of Access,Excel, Word and PowerPoint* o Broad client industry exposure with 2-3industry specializations* o Demonstrated mentoring capabilities* * Bachelor's degree in either Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical)or Accounting/Finance preferred.*
