A National Broadcasting Network in NYC is looking for Drupal PHP Developer will work as part of a team of developers to build and maintain a stateoftheart sports content management system Role Purpose The Drupal PHP Developer will work as part of a team of developers to build and maintain a stateoftheart sports content management system for the National Broadcasting Network Responsible for implementing testing and maintaining features of the end clients Sports Group web sites and the internal systems used to create them The Developer works as part of a group of passionate technologists with a clear charter to deliver the best possible sportsrelated web and mobile applications available Each member of the team works with a wide degree of creativity and latitude Essential Responsibilities Design and develop features for the end clients Sports Group properties Implement sophisticated user interfaces using industry standard technologies and techniques Work with the Senior Drupal Developer and Database Developer to design new features in the Drupal CMS and plan daily development activities Build applications to agree upon specifications within the required timeframe and budget Solid understanding of LAMP performance and configuration Develop all code in accordance with the end clients Sports Group and Drupal best practices Participate in code reviews to advance understanding and ensure compliance with all group standards Work with Customer Service and QA to identify and address issues reported by clients quickly and effectively Basic Qualifications Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Minimum two (2) years developing web sites using PHP At least one (1) years of experience with Drupal 67 Familiar with Drupal theming and module development Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and thrive in rapid development cycles Experience developing a large scale commercial web application running Drupal Comfortable coding HTML CSS JavaScriptjQuery Desired Characteristics Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to both technical and nontechnical resources Able to work independently and as a member of a large team Capable of managing multiple deliverables and completing assigned tasks quickly Passion for professional sports and an interest in digital media Innovative and flexible thinker comfortable suggesting solutions and willing to take risks Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines Committed to quality in everything you do
