We help companies to identify and manage risks inherent in business processes and technology systems that support business objectives, and provide them with the information needed to help them meet their strategic and financial goals. Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Management for our Management Consulting practice to join us in our NYC office.
Responsibilities:Utilize technical and healthcare provider industry knowledge to identify complex client issues, broaden client relationships, and develop a reputation as a thought leaderLead the assessment of revenue cycle functions of healthcare providers, including preregistration, insurance verification, point-of-service cash collections, financial counseling, registration, coding, medical records, billing, account follow-up and collections, customer service, and cash posting Assist with the implementation of approved technology and business process improvements within the above functionsParticipate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal developmentProvide guidance to clients with C-level client interactions Qualifications:Relevant healthcare work experience with two years of experience in public accounting or comparable advisory services firm providing high quality client servicesBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or the equivalent from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university, CPA, or other advanced healthcare professional credential preferredExperience in assessing healthcare provider revenue cycle operations and leading the implementation of the identified technology and business process improvementsKnowledge of healthcare revenue cycle software package capabilities and functionality and strong healthcare provider industry knowledge and experience Demonstrated track record of team leadership and client relationship managementAbility to travel extensivelyKPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
