SUMMARY

Mandl School, a degree-granting, post secondary institution in Manhattan, is seeking an assistant in the Registrar's Office. This position requires an individual to be hands on, meticulous, and proactive about records management.

DUTIES

Major areas of responsibility include the following:

* Be involved in using the computer systems for registration, record keeping, word processing and other data handling functions to ensure smooth operation of the office.
* Provide back-up for records and registration services, including registering students, issuing transcripts, answering phones, assisting student walk-ins, reporting grades, filing and copying records, as well as working special events (i.e., graduation).
* This list of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the Registrar.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess a minimum of a degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate at least two years of office experience, preferably within a College environment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Candidate should possess excellent customer relations skills, a passion for working with adult students, and a good sense of humor. The person must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite. An ability to follow directions, complete tasks accurately and on time, as well as accept supervisory input and constructive criticism is a requirement for this position.
