We are seeking Associate Teachers who are results-oriented, relentless and take a ""Beyond Z"" approach to teaching rigorous, engaging, and high quality instruction. Responsibilities: Our Associate Teachers will Be a part of a highly motivated team committed to education reform, parent choice and the building of exemplary schools.Support the learning and achievement of scholars in one class or several classes and across one or more grade levels. Collaborate with lead teachers to teach small groups.Gain experience leading an entire class of students in a specific content area.Receive routine, ongoing feedback and support from an outstanding leadership team and faculty.Teach in classrooms filled with resources and technology.Manage full class transitions and supervise lunch and recess.Join a ground-breaking faculty of teachers who collaborate regularly with a team and leader. Qualifications: Our ideal Associate Teacher will, at minimum, have either student teaching experience or relevant work experience with children. A Masters Degree and teaching certification in the content area are preferred (Bachelor's Degree is required).Demonstrated competencies in the following areas are a must: Accountability and Data Driven. Proven record of achievement as evidenced by student work, learning, and data.Stamina. Ability to handle the intensity required to work in a high-performing charter school, and remain organized, punctual, and reliable under pressure.Management. Ability to manage the behavior in a classroom of 25+ scholars. Self-Reflection. Ability to accept and implement feedback received for real-time improvement. Preparation. Ability to study curriculum and do the intellectual work needed to deliver instruction at a high level.
