Reporting to the Associate Dean, this business critical position is responsible for strategy, planning and execution of all technology and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising the development, implementation and management of all online and CRM systems for the Columbia Business School, Executive Education department. The Head of Information Design and CRM Technology is also expected to make significant leadership, individual and team contributions that will improve the department's use of technology and positively impact internal coordination, efficiency and customer service. Strategic thinking as well as hands-on attention to detail and execution is key to the success of this position. The role will work collaboratively with other functions, notably, Marketing, Online and Digital Programs, and Business Development, and will partner with the business to drive project execution and provide leadership in defining scope, prioritization and acceptance criteria, and to ensure change management to successful adoption.

Job Duties:

1.Establish milestones and manage the evolution of our technology strategy and platform; direct development resources in system and data architecture improvements and maintenance; work in collaboration with analytics team to measure and report performance of technology propositions;

2.Anticipate future technology and data needs; identifies and advocates for proactive solutions to satisfy needs.

3.Configure and maintain custom system settings such as objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within the department's systems;

4.Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security);

5.Establish and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.

6.Coordinate with Director of Sales and Program Management team on efforts to improve the consumer journey from inquiry to application, through design improvements and technological solutions;

7.Identify opportunities for improved client service through uses of technology. Create and execute project work plans. Produce deliverables on schedule, at or above pre-determined quality standards and within budget. Ensure projects documents are complete, current and maintained appropriately.

8.Establish high levels of data integrity and operational reliability of our standardized business analytics, tools and processes;

9.Develop and implement training for end-users. Create and maintain all training materials and guides for processes related to Executive Education business applications;

10.Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications for Grade

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred. 4-6 years of online technology work experience with demonstrated IT project management experience required. Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications

Must meet deadlines and resolve issues in a timely fashion. Quick thinker with the ability to see the big picture; detail-oriented, precise, and creative. Strong analytical and demonstrated project management skills; must be able to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level administration; ability to positively represent Columbia Business School Executive Education effectively in internal and external stakeholder groups and conferences and events.
