Title: Learning Consultant II Location: US-NY-New York Other Locations: General Description Leads the analysis, scoping and assessment of LOB or Enterprise learning solutions. Partners with Learning & Leadership Development (L&LD) colleagues in the business to drive performance improvement initiatives. Applies expertise in learning to identify opportunities, strategies and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals. Provide high-level learning consulting to the LOB. Will identify opportunities for learning improvement, review analysis to determine root causes, propose solutions, scope out the projects and assess the impact of the solution. Provides coaching to less experienced consultants and analysts. Individual contributor role. Specific Description The Learning Consultant II will support the Global Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses as part of the Global Learning Organization. The Learning Consultant will be responsible for working with the Learning Manager as well as directly with business leaders, Leadership Development and Human Resources to assess, implement and measure the learning needs of the business. The Learning Consultant will also be responsible for working directly with vendors and internal training shared services team to design and structure programs to educate associates at various levels within the business. Responsibilities will include the development and sustainment of end-to-end learning solutions that enable Investment Banking and Capital Markets employees to improve their job performance. Responsibilities: * Apply expertise in learning to identify opportunities, strategies and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals * Provide high-level learning / performance consulting to the business * Complete comprehensive needs analysis * Lead the analysis, scoping and assessment of business or global learning solutions * Identify opportunities for performance improvement, perform analysis to determine root causes, propose solutions, scope out the projects and assess the impact of the solution * Partner with learning colleagues and business partners to drive performance improvement initiatives. * Establish rapport and develop partnerships with key business stakeholders * Ensure flawless execution of initiatives/projects leading to the implementation of complete and robust learning programs * Provide coaching to less experienced learning consultants Reports to: Learning Manager II for Global Banking and Markets Location: New York City Required Skills: * Project management experience - must have experience managing large projects end to end, with multiple stakeholders, contributors, and decision makers * Must be able to demonstrate successful experience and skill in driving the execution of large, complex projects/initiatives along with proficiency in reporting results * Attention to detail and accomplished execution skills * Experienced and highly skilled in performance consulting with business leaders/executives * 3 years management/leadership experience * 5 years learning and development experience * Ability to learn complex information quickly * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to think broadly and strategically * Ability to build relationships, influence and inspire all levels of leadership; executive presence * BA/BS Required - Advanced Degree preferred (MS, MA, MBA, etc) * Experience in the Investment Banking business is strongly preferred
