Program Director - Middle School - Staffing Boutique, Inc (New York, NY)

Student Services Serve as accountable leader for all middle school programming; including initial recruitment and selection Maintain a close relationship with middle school student families and manage all communication Develop and maintain partnerships with local schools and contacts for recruitment and ongoing student support Instructional Leadership Serve as instructional leader of rigorous summer program, overseeing a staff of 24 Intern Teachers and 4 Instructional Coaches Recruit, select, and mange part‐time staff Aid in organization, development, and implementation of scalable services (i.e. curriculum development, student / staff recruitment, new program development) Collect, maintain, and report data from middle school program quarterly to assess performance on annual scorecard of program goals and measures A education based organization in NYC is looking for a Program Director for the High School to join their team! Qualities and Skills Experience in curriculum design and data-driven instruction A strong record of success in leading students to ambitious academic growth Excellent communication, networking (relationship building), and editing/writing skills Effective organization skills, attention to detail, action--‐ and deadline--‐oriented approach Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required Occasional evening and weekend hours required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, demonstrating strong academic achievement, Master’s degree preferred A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a middle or high school setting, ideally in NYC public schools Instructional Coaching or experience coaching other teachers is highly preferred
