Duties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Dean of Students: Supervise students who have been removed from classroom due to behavioral incidentsAssist with data collection and follow-up with teachers and parents for students involved in behavioral incidentsDe-escalate students in distress, as needed Support assigned student(s) in the classroom, as neededUpon training and with supervision, model restorative practices after behavioral incident by working 1:1 with student(s) Training in or knowledge of ABA, Restorative Justice, and/or Collaborative Problem Solving practices are a plus. Please describe experience in these areas if applicable. In coordination with the School Leadership Team, Learning Specialists and Service Providers: Manage and communicate a schoolwide schedule of student IEP meetings to ensure proactive communication with the CSEWork with the School Leadership Team and school staff to compile and send over all required documentation to CSE in a timely mannerCoordinate scheduling and meeting notification for parents and Staff of all upcoming meetings/ CSE evaluation appointments via email, phone calls, and lettersMaintain confidential student records related to the scheduling and notification of meetings Direct experience in any of the following areas is a plus: school compliance with the CSE, IEP documentation, schoolwide parent coordination and communication and/or needs of students with IEPs.
