Perchance To Dream Theatre is proud to present Sophocles’ famous tragedy ANTIGONE at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios, opening January 4th, 2013. This modern adaptation, written entirely by Perchance To Dream Theatre, is inspired by the Dover Thrift edition and will feature original handmade masks as well as custom video, light and sound to create a larger-than-life interpretation of this classic text.

Perchance To Dream Theatre is a new theatre company, interested in infusing fresh and spirited interpretations into an eclectic mix of new and classic works. We aim for the highest level of artistic and professional productions, while keeping our ticket prices affordable. We believe theatre should be accessible to all and is an integral part of an international cultural community.

After a lifetime of tragedy, Antigone, the daughter of the infamous Oedipus, is faced with a terrible reality. After her uncle, the new leader of her empire, issues a decree that the body of her dead brother is to be left unburied for the world to see, Antigone has a choice - to sit silently in the face of injustice or to take action. With an original script written by Perchance To Dream Theatre, this production seeks to examine the true definitions of family, love, loyalty and pride.
