The Westchester Chapter of the NYSSCPA is hosting its Annual College Planning Event this year on February 5th in Ossining and February 6th in Rye Brook.

This free event helps parents, and other family members, get information about scholarships, the financial aid process, student loans, education tax benefits, college savings plans and other financial awards and resources for their college-bound student.

Gary Carpenter, CPA and owner of College Planning Services and Al Hoffman, director of the College Funding Service Center (CFSC) will be the events’ featured speakers.

· The first workshop will be held Tuesday, Feb.5th at Ossining High School, Room 203; 29. S. Highland Ave., Ossining, N.Y. from 6:30 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.

· The second will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6th at 800 Westchester Avenue, 5th Floor auditorium, Rye Brook, N.Y. from 6:15 p.m. – 9 p.m.
