Aon is looking for an Account Executive LeaderThe Stamford, CT team is in the market for an Account Executive Leader. This presents the right AE Leader candidate with a great opportunity to make their mark on a 50MM plus operation, making Stamford, CT our 10th largest office in the country. We have strong expertise in Energy, Financial Services, Retail, and Manufacturing.We are looking for a leader for an experienced group of AEs to effectively execute on a disciplined approach on the Client Promise activities and being an integral part of an executive leadership team focused on a robust and sustainable breakout growth strategy. This role will enable individual AEA?s to succeed and want to facilitate this by creating an energetic and highly collegiate environment where we work hard, innovate, execute effectively on our deliverables and have fun.Your impact as an Account Executive Leader Job Responsibilities:A: Ensure that every Account Executive has a plan to grow their book of business.A: Ensure execution on that plan. This includes: o follows up on open opportunities o follows up on activities and tasks o Assisting the AE in prepping for a quality Discovery meeting with their clients o Leading SAR meetings that maximize our retention, client relations and new business effortsA: Maximize office retention. This includes: o Identifying what accounts could be at risk and ensuring those items are entered in the jeopardy system o Working with the AE on accounts at risk to maximize the probability to retain those accountsA: Maximize rollover. This includes: o Maximizing pricing on existing accounts o Ensuring acceptable profitability on existing accounts o Establishes clear roles, responsibilities and performance expectations for their client service teams o Monitor client satisfaction, particularly through Client Promise Survey feedback o Monitor performance and suggest changes in AE assignments and the composition of service teams as appropriate o Orchestrate succession planning on key clients and AEs; leads AE and AS recruiting and talent pipeline for assigned area. o Ensure that each client has an AE assigned (in partnership with RMD) and manage assignment of accounts to ensure maximum efficiency and client satisfaction.A: Educate Account Executives and Account Specialists (particularly AE Is and AEs new to Aon) directly and by assisting with training plans in client management, risk management, insurer interface and Aon resources, processes and tools (including, but not limited to GRIP, Client Promise, Knowledge Exchange, Aon Value Exchange, Time Tracking, , Jeopardy Reporting and ORBIT).A: Develop and maintain executive client contact program on key office accounts.You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience:A: Typically at least 7 years of appropriate insurance experience, coupled with managerial ability.A: Strong leadership and coaching skills with proven ability to drive growth.A: Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance business, client management dynamics and all major coverages and broker services.
