Our client, an International Fiber Commodity Trade Organization is looking for anAccount Manager to create and develop partnerships and marketing initiatives with global fashion brands. The Account Manager position is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities: Present and sell Merino Wool to key accounts in the Americas
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts, including fashion brands
Cultivate extensive product knowledge as well as staying up-to-date on sales, market and technology in the industry
Seek out new potential business partnerships
Present trade information and trends to business partners including hosting trade shows, seminars, round-tables
Instruments in planning, pitching, executing and measuring the sales and marketing campaigns for Merino Wool
Understand and study the global fiber and apparel sourcing industry
Bring an established customer base of global retailers and apparel and accessory brands
Develop a global, cultural sensitivity
Demonstrate a proven sales and marketing track record
Maintain a global perspective on business Qualifications: 5+ years of account management in fashion, textiles, footwear or apparel
Strong technical knowledge of fabric and textiles, including processing and finishing
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Well-versed in public speaking and cold calling Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Fashion or Textiles
