Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (HCS) is currently recruiting for an Analyst, Contract Strategy & Management (CSM), located in Piscataway, NJ.

Johnson & Johnson Customer & Logistics Services (CLS) is a global Supply Chain organization that supports operating units across all of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. CLS strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer facing-functions such as distribution and transportation. In addition, CLS oversees critical business enablers, including how we gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. CLS supports all three sectors of Johnson & Johnson: Medical Device & Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. This team is represented in multiple countries, and continues to grow globally in both visibility and responsibility. The CLS team reports to Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain and partners closely with groups throughout the supply chain organization.
Acting on behalf of Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer operating companies, the Government Contracting team is responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant end to end contracting with Federal, State and Local Government entities as well as support for Government programs such as Tricare Retail and 340B.
The Government Contracting team is relied upon to negotiate contracts, daily monitoring of the Price Reduction Clause as well as monitoring of policy and legislative changes. Ensure that disclosures are provided to the Government in compliance with terms and conditions of each contract. In addition, the team is responsible to review commercial strategies for impact to Government contracting, report findings and develop recommendations for alternate strategies.
The Analyst, Contract Strategy & Management (CSM), is responsible for the contract management and administration of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Operating Company Federal, State, & Local contracting needs.
• Contract management and administration of J&J Operating Company Federal, State, & Local contracting needs.
• Loading new contracts, performing maintenance to existing contracts, managing customer eligibility and performing the calculation of Government payments as required by contract terms.
• Analyze large data sets, including utilization data provided by the Government, to determine discrepancies, perform root cause analysis and provide recommended solutions.
• Serves as the Single Point of Contact in resolving all claims and discrepancies for Government contracts across the Pharmaceutical, Consumer and Medical Device sectors.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of Process Narratives, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions related to Government Contract Services. These documents are used to guide the Analyst through assigned tasks and duties.
• Participate and attend bi-weekly conference calls in conjunction with the Government Contract Managers and Operating Company business partners.
• Support the development of analytical tools that assist with evaluating contracting opportunities, determining contract compliance and measuring business results.
• Maintain pricing and contracting information infrastructure and databases necessary to develop contract, proposals, bid responses, etc.
• Evaluates contracting systems to determine any potential Government Compliance issues.
• Maintain compliance to the Government Records Retention requirements outlined in the Government Compliance Guidance Documents.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of two (2) years of total business experience required
• Experience in government contracting is preferred.
• Understanding of Contracting Process and Knowledge preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, while also escalating any issues and challenges as needed required.
• Proven ability to multi-task and meet timelines required.
• Ability to prepare analysis to support the development of government contracts and proposals with direction preferred.
• Ability to review and analyze large data sets (including utilization data) for discrepancies and provide innovative solutions for resolution required.
• CARS IS, Model N, Contract Compliance and Payments System (CCPS), Consumer Price Index (CPI) Check Request Application (CCRA), Contract Marketing Workstation (CMW), Cognos experience preferred.
• Ability to utilize existing contracting systems to evaluate contracting opportunities, determine contract compliance and measure business results required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including experience with collecting data, creating spreadsheets, review and analyzing executive summary of data, etc., required
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge preferred
• This position is located in Piscataway, NJ with up to 5% of domestic travel is required.
