Business Analyst - Expense Management - Investment Firm (New York, NY)

Top Tier Investment Firm is looking for a Solid Candidate to handle a Business Analyst - Expense Management role. Responsibilities include developing management reporting, providing variance analysis, identifying and implementing accounting controls to aid in providing transparencies of the Banks brokerage, clearing and exchange expenses. In addition, the role includes participating in projects that target operational improvements, allocation enhancements and aligning the general ledger accounting structure in an effort to provide expense transparency. Specific areas of focus include: developing and producing monthly management reporting analytics that detail vendor spend and volume trends, identification of accounting and process inefficiencies and inconsistencies, assist to identify operational and accounting redundancies between ICG divisions resulting in unnecessary spend, and scope out both tactical and strategic improvements to maximize automation and reduce manual processing of reports.
