Business Development and Marketing InternBedrocket is a new media company launching 4 channels in 2012 as part of the Google/YouTube original programming initiative. Our channels include Network A (action sports), Kick (global soccer), Look TV (fashion and beauty) and Official Comedy (comedy).Bedrocket is looking for a qualified summer intern candidate for a cross-functional role within the Business Development and Marketing teams.Responsibilities include:* Development and assistance with integrated marketing strategies* Research and analysis of digital content trends* Identification and research of potential cross promotional partners* Research and outreach to potential content distribution outletsQualifications include:* MBA candidates are ideal but qualified undergraduate students are encouraged to apply as well* Strong knowledge of the digital video landscape including social media platforms* Ability to be a self starter and work in a fast paced environment* Experience in brand marketing and managing client/agency relationships is preferred* Willingness to work in both marketing and business developmentWe are located in downtown Manhattan. This is a full or part-time position, 3-5 days per week, pending discussion.
