Business Manager - Software Guidance & Assistance (New York)

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial clients in New York, New York.
Responsibilities:

* Monthly & Quarterly Financial Management Reporting and Analysis

* Financial analysis and spend management for new and existing technology projects & Major Expenditure Requests (MERs)

* Annual Budget Preparation

* Financial Forecast Process

* Financial Tracking of Project and Support Activities

* Resource tracking (FTE/Consultants), on-boarding and reporting

* Expense Allocation Process

* Develop presentations and capital expenditure requests for funding

* Adhoc business projects/requests

* Work with hiring managers to ensure hiring is done based on overall CBT and FRM resource strategy

* Liaise with IT FCG and other IT Departments

* Metrics

Required Skills:

* Experience in the Financial Industry

* Strong Analytical skills

* Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills

* Expert with Excel and PowerPoint

* Experience with MS Sharepoint a plus

* Execution & deliverable focused

* Ability to multi-task

* Self motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership and accountability

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with PPM and other internal MS systems

* Background in managing Technology spend

* Understanding of internal billing & internal allocations

* Understanding of Project Management & Business Management
