Compliance Coordinator - CenterLight Healthcare (Bronx, NY)

The Compliance Coordinator will support the efforts of the CenterLight Healthcare Corporate Compliance Department by helping to promote a culture of compliance. The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for helping to achieve the departmental goals and objectives, identifying and resolving a variety of regulatory issues, maintaining regulatory files, and preparing and submitting Medicare/Medicaid marketing materials to federal and state regulators. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assists with regulatory filings and submissions to CMS, the NYSDOH and reviews documents for compliance with enters for CMS and NYSDOH guidelines. 2. Assists the Chief Compliance Officer with monitoring of the day-to-day compliance activities. 3. Assists Compliance Officers with conducting the compliance risk assessment process the development of compliance-related assessment tools and testing programs and mitigation, monitoring and auditing. 4. Assists the Compliance Officers with responding to compliance hotline reports, department calls, or other contacts. Assist with strategizing potential solutions and their implementation, including but not limited to compliance review spot-checks, training sessions, or policy revisions. 5. Perform ongoing compliance reviews to detect or confirm compliance violations. 6. Proactively cultivate and maintain strong, positive working relationships. 7. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to members, medical staff, employees, integrity issues, audits, and, as appropriate, other information. 8. Assists with or leads the development of compliant marketing materials. 9. Assists in performing presentations on educational trainings. Job Specifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Business Administration, Health Care or related field preferred wo years prior experience in a health care environment. Regulatory compliance experience in healthcare management necessary. Experience in preparing effective presentations and reporting using a variety of software programs e.g. Visio, PowerPoint and dashboard reports. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including analytical skills required with acute attention to detail.
