Job description
(New York & Los Angeles)

The Portfolio Editor is responsible for maintaining and updating all artist portfolios and promotional materials. The Portfolio Editor works closely with the Portfolio & Digital Media Manager to preserve the creative vision of The Wall Group through all aspects of imaging, including, but not limited to the following: the website, online/digital portfolios, and physical portfolios.

Major Responsibilities

1) Review all new work (i.e. editorial, advertising, runway, red carpet and reel) on a weekly basis.

2) Hold weekly artist image review meetings with Agents. Select images to update artists’ digital portfolios accordingly. Execute updates on the website via FTP.

3) Manage incoming special inquiries from artists and agents. Create supplemental PDFs and links for custom portfolio based requests.

4) Meet with artists to review portfolios and edit according to feedback received.

5) Responsible for the following regarding all new incoming artists:

Collaborate with the Archive team to ensure all new artists’ pertinent images are received.

Review and edit archive of images based on feedback from artist’s Agent.

Create artists’ portfolios with Portfolio & Digital Media Manager to ensure each portfolio is “on-brand” and reflects artist’s goals.

6) Update few remaining physical portfolios as needed in coordination with agents and the Digital Archivists.

7) Is able to work with the team and assist in archiving responsibilities, i.e. filenaming, keywording and adding metadata to images collected & contribute to the collection and upkeep of the company's digital image database


Fashion Photography/Art Background
Image editing experience 3-5 years
Fashion Portfolio editing experience 3-5 years
Adobe Creative Suite experience with strong emphasis on Photoshop and Bridge
DAM experience
A strong fashion editorial eye and understanding of all major fashion magazines
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
