The Mikey’s Way Foundation is seeking an innovative and progressive Executive Director to carry out the mission, priorities, and policies of the Mikey’s Way with a significant focus on resource development. The successful candidate will leverage strategic and creative tactics to positively position the Mikey’s Way in the community in order to achieve its mission and objectives. The Executive Director ensures that the agency meets its operational and resource development goals through strategic management and daily oversight of staff, volunteers, programs, and fundraising efforts. Other major responsibilities include:

Spearheading all resource development strategies and tactics, including the development and implementation of a multi-year, comprehensive strategic fundraising plan with individual accountability for bringing in major gifts, corporate support and planned gifts;
Leveraging vision, leadership to support and motivate the volunteers and professionals involved with working collaboratively to create long-range strategic plans to meet Mikey's Way Foundation long-term goals.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, innovative, and progressive with strong executive orientation to creatively produce outstanding fundraising and operational results. Major deliverables include executive management, resource development including donor cultivation and stewardship, and the creation of strategic plans. Requirements include: 5-10 years of significant managerial/supervisory capacity, preferably in a nonprofit organization. Candidates must have a track record of significant resource development experience. Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
