Pan Asian Repertory Theatre is the premiere Asian American Theatre company on the East Coast. Founded 41 years ago, Pan Asian Rep provides a forum for Asian American Artists to participate in American Theatre. It is America’s first theatre to explore the Asian-American experience.

At present, it is seeking qualified candidates for new Fiscal Manager to work with the Founding Artistic Director to focus on budgeting, tracking box office, and contributed income including grant writing and final reports preparation.

Scope of Responsibilities:

1. Manage / update Pan Asian’s proprietary contact database; for donor renewals and trustee gifts; assist APD in all ongoing/new grant applications and final reports to government, foundations proposals, and corporate matching gifts.

2. Manage insurance/workers’ forms; union contracts for actors, directors, and designers, rental agreements. Track Box Office reports and revenue; assist APD in Budgeting & fiscal reports to Board, funders.

3. Assist with Pan Asian Mainstage, Training, and Play development/NuWorks programs with basic administrative support of theatre producing company. And audience and community outreach initiatives.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum of 3 years of non-profit arts experience, preferred

· Excellent organizational skills and oral & written communication skills

· Self-motivated and results oriented with meticulous attention to details

· Tech savvy, computer literate, and familiar with social media

· Familiarity with Asian and Asian American community and organizations a plus

· Working knowledge of html, Photoshop, and/or In Design, Mail Chimp; ability to oversee mass mailing /emailing; Microsoft office suite

· Some experience in fundraising (particularly grant writing) a plus

Required Integrity/Ethics: Demonstrate consistency in upholding & promoting the values of Pan Asian Repertory Theatre in actions and decisions, & in accordance with best practices in the non-profit industry.

PT to grow into FT; candidates must be available to work 25-40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, as well as occasional evening events. There is some flexibility in schedules.
