Managerial Associate – New York

IMG Artists are recruiting for a Managerial Associate to assist in the management of Artists and manage the day-to-day administration to enable the Artist Manager to develop the careers of Artists, ensuring their success in a commercial world.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Updating and maintaining an accurate diary for each Artist
• Liaising with orchestras and other promoters to ensure that all the details are correct, arranging all artistic support and maintaining positive day-to-day contact with the Artists.
• Arranging all transportation and accommodations logistics.
• Assessing and editing contracts and other documents pertaining to each engagement, and processing them in conjunction with the Artist Manager.
• Producing and updating press materials for each Artist.
• Occasional weekend or evening work, either related to concert attendance or due to emergencies.
Essential skills include:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a strong interest or passion in classical music and performing arts; previous experience in the music industry a plus.
• Intelligent and quick learner.
• Typing skills and computer literacy.
• The ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• First class organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
• Enthusiastic, positive approach to work.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work successfully and efficiently in close collaboration with others and as part of a team.
