Mobile Applications Product/Business Analyst - Clover Business Solutions (New York, NY)

One of our major Software Development firm’s is going mobile and they are looking for a Mobile Applications Business Analyst to participate in the product development and management to make this happen! This is a break out opportunity for someone to drive an innovative project at an established leader in the Software Development industry. The Mobile Solutions Team, with the support of the firm's Senior Management, is charged with the evolution of how the firm’s clients access and leverage the valuable data, intelligence and workflow solutions for its clients. This person will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of Mobile Application SaaS solutions to clients via mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. This team will provide valuable insight into the mobile solutions strategy supporting clients across multiple products and business verticals. This includes working with our business leaders to gather and prioritize market and client requirements, create detailed Functional Specifications, collaborate with development resources, provide quality assurance and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing and roll-out. The selected candidate, and his or her team, will ensure that our large web-based applications and advisory services translate appropriately into the mobile world. Principle Duties and Responsibilities of the Mobile Applications Business Analyst: • Sharing mobile subject matter experience during strategy discussions • Work with business groups to design applications into mobile products driving the strategy and conceptual design of this platform. • Gathering Business Requirements & Supporting the production of Functional Specifications • Support of the Product Lifecycle including: requirements gathering, specification documentation, quality assurance, training, client rollout and support. Requirements: - Requires 4+ years of Business Analysis and/or Systems Analysis experience with strong user requirements gathering and documentation of specifications. - Proven ability to determine the design of a Mobile application that is in line with business needs. - Requires experience working on Mobile Application projects, with Mobile Applications product management experience required. - Must have the ability and aptitude to learn the SaaS business and translate these needs into new mobile products, and perform high-level troubleshooting. - Full product development life cycle knowledge and experience. Should include but not be limited to successful product execution. - Experience with writing business requirements, functional specifications, mockups, and user assurance testing. - Demonstrated experience in building relationships and collaborate across multiple teams including senior level employees and clients. -Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys the challenge of problem solving. -Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task is a must. - Must be able to work independently yet be a strong team player/ leader. -Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project. - Any experience driving the strategy of HTML5 projects would be a plus. Proficiency in Illustrator would also be a plus.
