The person in this position is responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented workforce in order to improve business results. A high performer in this position will identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues; ensure production resources (including materials, equipment, and human resources) are available as needed to maintain product schedules; support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Relate and adhere to all OSHA, GMP and HACCP standards and guidelines.
Conduct performance management, training, and development, including any corrective actions as needed.
Ensure safe operation of equipment by coordinating preventative maintenance.
Review hourly line checks to ensure that all products are within specification and implement corrective actions for deficiencies.
Assist production employees with any issues or concern not resolved with lead hand.
Implement employee discipline procedure for other issues as required.
Develop and review personal development plan ensuring that it includes goals that support the key initiatives of the organization as well as personal development goals.
Monitor production to maximize productivity and respond to unusual circumstances to meet production targets.
Prepare end of shift reports that detail various aspects and statistics from each production run
Supervise and coordinate staffing in the Production / Packaging / Sanitation / Ovens / Warehouse Department.


University degree is required (preference will be given to those with a degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply).
Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
Recent experience in the meat industry is preferred.
Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in production supervision.
