Position Summary:

Join one of the nation's leading financial industry organizations focused on advancing women. The Financial Women's Association (FWA) is seeking a Program Manager dedicated to Financial Education, with administrative and project responsibility for several financial education programs including:

Financial Backpack
Wall Street Exchange
Adult Financial Literacy
This position will be responsible for assisting the FWA Next Generation Leadership in maintaining relationships with some of our key stakeholder groups including Baruch College and Murry Bergtraum High School (MBHS), as well as our current partnerships with organizations providing grants/ funding, including BMO Capital Markets. The position will also assist in the evolution of any new programs, online and/or expansion of offline, going forward.

The candidate will report directly to the FWA Executive Director and will work closely with volunteer leaders, including the VP of Next Generation, the Director of Educational Program Development, as well as the Co-chairs of each program committee.

Candidate Qualifications:

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

A minimum two years' experience in developing and managing programs and/or curriculum in the nonprofit or related sectors.
Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals
Ability to create reports and presentations and synthesize information
Experience in project management, grant writing, partnership management and/or education are a plus.
Strong technical and online skills desired, including proficiency with powerpoint and excel; database management/CRM; online research; familiarity with Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
Interest in financial empowerment/education and/or the financial industry.
Soft skills required:

Highly organized and detail-oriented.
A self-starter capable of multi-tasking, working in a fast-paced environment and meeting strict deadlines.
Flexible and capable of taking direction from several individuals simultaneously.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strong customer focus.
Experience with financial literacy or education subject matter a plus.
Education: Undergraduate degree.
