The ideal candidate will have experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization. Responsibilities include:· Establish relationships with internal departments and external customer contacts. Lead internal cross-functional team by organizing and facilitating project status meetings. Serve as a point-of-contact to the customer and internal departments for day-to-day execution of project.· Collaborate with customer and cross-functional team to create work breakdown structure and project schedule. Determine duration and resources needed to perform work.· Work with customer to gather detailed requirements disseminate customer's needs to internal team. Proactively shape customer expectations by way of offer best practice solutions and processes. Develop plans and strategies for providing the highest quality products and services to the customer while also controlling costs.· Identify and analyze problems through to resolution. Consult with project team to devise and implement solutions to issues in a timely manner. Formulate alternative solutions that go beyond the obvious.· Establish and maintain project documentation use documentation to control scope creep. Thoroughly evaluate any proposed scope change by involving entire project team. Perform administrative activities such as coordinating logistical issues, billing and status reporting.RequirementsRequired Qualifications include:· Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.· Previous professional level experience in the areas of project management or customer relationship management strongly desired.· Knowledge or use of project management methodologies preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.· Previous team leadership experience and contact with external customers preferred.· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products required. Experience with MS Project required· Must have experience handling large scale print related projects with complex business rules and on-line application development and testing.· Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to achieve high product quality with aggressive implementation schedules.· Highly dependable, adaptable to independent and team assignments, and able to work in structured and unstructured environments.· Demonstrated interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among internal and external customers.· Must be willing to lead a team, motivate and communicate with individuals or teams.· Knowledge of product offerings and production requirements of the manufacturing facilities.· 5-7 years experience managing complex projects – IT operations, ERP, etc.
