We are seeking a Project Manager in our PEMA New York department. General SummaryProvide coordination, management oversight and execution of all phases of insurance due diligence, insurance placement and stewardship on behalf of private equity and/or corporate clients.Essential Functions* Identifies risk/insurance issues that impact transaction value* Determines the type and scope of existing risks and liabilities including hidden or understated liabilities* Provides actuarial service and claims review to determine the adequacy of balance sheet reserves for self insurance* Develops pro forma cost projections* Evaluates past insurance policies to determine remaining insurance limits and determine the solvency of those insurance carriers* Identifies and resolve issues in the Purchase and Sale Agreement* Assists in the formulation of an exit strategy for unwanted assets* Develops insurance solutions to assist in closing deals* Drafts insurance transition agreements* Develops and implement integration strategies for the new organization* Provides post closing insurance programs* Provides annual stewardship for both portfolio companies and private equity firms* Has at least 5 years professional experience. * Possesses good knowledge of client risk issues and Marsh solutions.
