Description: Our client is seeking an experienced sales person to develop business by selling database/subscription products into the financial and aviation markets. This Person Will: *Report to the Head of Information Services (US)
*Be very entrepreneurial, highly organized and a self-starter
*Have experience and strong familiarity with database/subscription-based selling
*Need to be able to identify customer needs through solution-based selling techniques
*Needs to be able to demonstrate the full value of the company’s suite of products
*Have responsibility for existing client base as well as growing sales through new accounts
*Be responsible for reaching sales goals by creating mutually beneficial relationships with customers
*Need to be able to build and maintain relationships with clients *Need to be enthusiastic and excited about their work and what they do
*Ideally have a strong interest in the finance and aviation markets
*Be able to negotiate sizable deals generating revenues of $20,000-$50,000 per deal
*Year over year client retention is high with this product so long-term relationship development is critical Requirements: *A Bachelor’s Degree
*A minimum of 2 years of sales experience
*Must have evidence of top achievement in Business information/Database/Subscription sales
*Must be self driven with superior cold calling skills
*Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
*Experience in developing new markets and building contact networks required*Must have excellent computer skills
*Must possess the ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with key decision makers
*Knowledge of business models and operations of MROs, aftermarket and parts suppliers for the commercial aviation and aerospace industries preferred
*Familiarity with business operations within financial institutions, aircraft lessors useful & familiarity with capital markets important*Experience with Consultative Sales techniques
*Familiarity with airline fleet planning and financing, commercial development of airports including increasing airline traffic and understanding of government infrastructure is strongly preferred
