As Senior Media Relations Manager you’ll be responsible for building brand awareness and driving engagement with influencers, customers, and prospects. Creative and results-driven, you will be leading the development of strategic media relations and corporate communications programs designed to strengthen our corporate reputation and secure high quality media coverage. You are a Public Relations expert with deep experience creating compelling stories for B2B technology brands and have a flair for writing great content.
This is a unique opportunity to help lead the strategy and development of communication programs for one of the most promising late-stage tech startups in the world. You’ll be part of an energetic and globally distributed team that reports into the Vice President of Corp Communications.

Support the development of a global communication plans including messaging, strategy, campaigns and measurement
Lead the development of a US media relations strategy designed to secure consistently high-quality coverage across print, online and broadcast media
Be the primary contact for US media. Nurture and grow an extensive network of journalists and influencers. Take responsibility for pitching stories, managing inquiries, and staffing interviews
Work with key internal stakeholders (executive management, marketing, engineering and HR) to execute media campaigns that support business objectives
Produce compelling content for a range of mediums including earned, owned, paid and shared media
Report qualitatively on coverage and analyze our positioning in the media to demonstrate the impact on marketing and business goals
Handle communication around issues management, both internally and externally
Success Measures
Increase brand awareness and preference among key target audiences
Consistently produce customer and thought leadership content that drives engagement
Place coverage across print, digital and broadcast media

5+ years experience in B2B Technology PR, preference for agency experience
Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to translate complex technology into compelling stories
Proven track record designing and executing successful PR campaigns
Strong existing relations with key US media and influencers
Experience managing social media programs a plus
Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns and tactics
Familiarity with PR tools including measurement (AirPR, Meltwater), content collaboration (Pressly) and social sharing (Sprinklr, Hootsuite)
Bachelor's degree preferred
