Sr. Risk Business Analyst - W.R. Rosato & Associates (New York, NY)

Vice President Senior Technical Business Analyst Retail Risk is a new project to build a global consumer risk management system. The Retail Technical Business Analysis team is seeking a senior technical business analyst to join this energetic, innovative, collegial and technically strong global risk technology group. The senior technical business analyst is required to play a critical role in the global rollout of the Retail Risk initiative by collecting and reviewing functional requirements, creating use cases and key documents, running workshops, communicating business needs and requirements, ensuring compliance of application logic, overseeing testing and rollout, and capturing enhancement requests. The candidate will have to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions while acting as an advocate to ensure successful implementation of the business’s requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This person must work closely with the Retail Risk technology team. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to work with risk management teams throughout the world in capturing requirements to support activities such as CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review), Basel analytics, Loss Mitigation, Collections and Consumer Modeling. Job Requirements 7+ years of financial industry experience is required. Retail is a plus. Proven business analysis experience Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; strong influencing, facilitation, and collaborations skills Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities. Technical background is preferred. Prior working experience working with Global Investment Bank, Retail Banking or Risk is a big plus. Experience with large scale program rollout Experience working with multiple teams across widespread regions, and ability to co-ordinate, track and expedite tasks Strong team player with additional ability to work independently Must be able to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast paced, deadline driven environment Should be able to demonstrate functional and business knowledge regarding prior projects BS or equivalent degree
