Williams is seeking an Operations Supervisor. This position will lead a team that is responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of Natural Gas Compression and Interstate Pipeline facilities under the direction of the Operations Manager. He or she will serve as a role model for safe operations, providing a visible leadership presence and holds team members equally accountable for safety and adherence to the risk management systems in place. The ideal candidate will ensure all employees within their area are adequately trained and qualified to identify hazards and safely carry out duties as required.
:Work under the direction of the Operations Manager to achieve operational and maintenance priorities.
:Coordinate and confirms that all direct reports are adequately trained and qualified and are capable of identifying hazards and safely carrying out duties.
:Ensure all work performed in the Supervisor's area of responsibility is in strict accordance with Company policies and procedures (WIMS, PSM, Project Life Cycle, Integrity Management Plans, and other processes).
:Regularly review Permits, Job Plans, MOCs, PSSRs, LOTOs for effectiveness and accuracy and holds employees accountable for safe operations.
:Is a consistent and regular presence at work sites monitoring and auditing critical safety procedures and providing immediate and regular feedback.
:Responsible for managing the facility drawings (including redlines).
:Identifies and proposes optimization schemes to maximize efficient and safe use of physical facilities.
:Manage and contribute to the development of the O and M expense plan and forecasts, and assist in conducting regular operating cost controls and analysis.
:Communicate outage plans within the Supervisor's area of responsibility and with Pipeline Control to minimize impacts to customers and profitability.
:Ensure that a collaborative environment exists where information is readily shared within and outside of the local operating group.
:Manage workforce planning and career development for self and direct reports.
:Delegate work through COMs and Leads.
:Work with employees to establish meaningful and relevant annual SMART goals.
:Individual may be required to lead or serve as an SME for important organizational initiatives.
:Serve as a change agent to support critical organization programs and initiatives.
:Associate's degree required and bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in operations, engineering, project management, and a proven track record may be substituted for education.
:Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of industry specific operations which include, but not limited to, processing plants, gathering, NGL/Petchem and transmission pipelines.
