Job Summary
Ameritel is actively seeking a Training and Development Manager who will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the training team. The Training and Development Manager will set performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and help employees succeed within the organization.
Primary responsibilities
The training and development manager is responsible to perform the following:
:Evaluate needs of the company, and develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the organization.
:Consult with company leadership and assist with the development of strategic plans to meet company:wide objectives
:Create brochures, training materials, multimedia visual aids, and presentations
:Develop new hire orientation and leadership training content
:Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
:Implement testing and evaluation processes, conduct performance evaluations and provide performance feedback.
:Facilitate and oversee classroom training, demonstrations, on:the:job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
:Manage staff of sales trainers, and provide leadership development education.
:Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
:Travel to different markets as needed to oversee and execute training and development program.

Minimum requirements:
:The ideal candidate will at a minimum have a Bachelors degree in a related discipline or work experience equivalent and experience in Training and Development management of not less than five (5) years.
:Previous experience managing a team of trainers required
:Experience in telecommunications required; wireless preferred
:Willingness to travel up to 50 of the time
:Excellent stage presence, ability to train in both large and small employee environments.
:The ability to establish and present the Ameritel culture.
:Proven customer:focused background, providing excellent customer service to internal and external team members.
:Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, strong communication skills, and robust computer skills in a Windows environment.
:Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast:paced environment are essential.
