ASSOCIATE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER-NURSING

THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AT MONTEFIORE MEDICAL CENTER

The Associate Administrative Nurse Manager (AANM) for the Pediatric Critical Care Unit supports and collaborates with the Nurse Manager by coordinating day to day
operational activities. 

The AANM will be accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Functions when necessary as Charge Nurse and acts as a clinical resource to the staff to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, research and evidenced based expert nursing care to patients and families. Participates in committees, unit and hospital based projects.

This includes assisting the Administrative Nurse Manager with maintaining unit specific standards of practice and participating with the staff development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs, and services.

Licensure: Current NYS Nursing License

Experience: 1-2 years of progressive leadership experience, 3-5 years recent nursing experience in a Pediatric Critical Care unit with a strong background /or a specialization in Cardiac Intensive Care. CCRN preferred and AHA PALS, ACLS required. New York State RN License and Registration
