Emergency DepartmentFull Time - DaysOur Emergency Department (ED) is an important part of Glens Falls Hospital. A Level 2 Trauma Center, the ED Team is made up of over 100 employees and 18 physicians who care for a wide range of patients. The fast-paced ED is a 46-bed unit which boasts the only helipad in our region available to transport trauma patients who need specialized care - fast.The Clinical Manager provides overall clinical and operational management in collaboration and consultation with the Nursing Director. Strong leadership, managerial skills, communication and collaborative skills are critical in order to provide quality patient care and an environment that fosters staff growth and satisfaction. The Clinical Manager is responsible for the management of human, material and fiscal resources to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient focused care in the unit or service.Education/Experience: Graduation from a Registered Professional Nursing program. 3 years relevant clinical experience required. 5 years clinical experience preferred. Previous nursing management experience preferred. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related fieldLicenses/Certificates/Registrations: Current license and registration to practice Registered Professional Nursing in New York State Current BLS certification Current ACLS and PALS certifications if required for service Certification of specialty organization preferred
