Complete Description The Director is accountable for assuring the provision of effective, high-quality patient care and encompassing multiple responsibilities which include: management of clinical practice and patient care delivery; management of staff, budgetary and other resources; development of personnel; compliance with regulatory and professional standards; strategic planning; and fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the units of responsibility and the organization. The Director is responsible for 2 cost centers and has primary twenty-four hour responsibility for 31 employees and 26 FTEs within Respiratory Services. Current Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapy required. Current AHA BLS, NRP and PALS certification required, ACLS certification preferred. Baccalaureate Degree in a clinical or health administration or related field required. Master''s Degree in a clinical related field, Business or equivalent experience preferred. Three to five years of related clinical experience in area of responsibility. Three to five years of demonstrated progressive management experience with increasing scope of responsibility. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates results oriented management. Basic computer skills preferred.
