HEADLINE: Manhattan, New York City: In a very desirable area of Manhattan, a BC Emergency Medicine physician is needed to work at a state-of-the-art urgent care center established in February, 2011. LOCATION: MANHATTAN/NEW YORK CITY: This state-of-the-art urgent care outpatient center is located in a very desirable area of Manhattan. The ER physician may live wherever she/he chooses and has many options. (See below for additional information regarding New York City.)

AVAILABILITY: IMMEDIATE

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The desired candidate needs to be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and have a minimum of two years of work experience after residency training. The new physician will need to treat patients of all ages. The ability to do suturing is a requirement.

PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY: A Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician is needed to work at a state-of-the-art urgent care/ outpatient center.

This state-of-the art urgent care walk-in center was established in February of 2011.

This is a 100% outpatient opportunity. There is NO call.

This beautiful facility is currently staffed with one full-time Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician, several part-time ER physicians (who will all be placed by the new ER physician), an X-Ray technician, a lab technician, a Medical Assistant and a Physician Assistant.

It is equipped with an on-site lab and advanced technology x-ray machines.

HOURS/WORK SCHEDULE: The new Emergency Medicine physician will work about 37 hours during the winter and about 34 hours during the summer months. She/he will need to be available to work a full day on Sunday, which is part of the 37 hour work week.

FINANCIAL: The starting base salary will be very competitive and negotiable. It will also be commensurate with the physician's experience. They will provide a fringe benefits package which will include malpractice insurance. This is an employed opportunity.
