We have an excellent employed opening for a board-certified full-time surgical physician assistant at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Job Requirements: -The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified/eligible as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience. -Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, multi-specialty surgical assisting, pre/post op care, and minor surgical and bedside procedures. -Candidates with one to three years of surgical experience will be given first preference, but new graduates will be considered as will nurse practitioners with RNFA certification and surgical experience. -We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and generous allowances for CME and professional dues/expenses.
