Job Description

A health nonprofit organization in Bronx, NY is seeking a Medical Biller with a strong background in Accounts Receivable and Billing with (2-5 years of experience preferred). This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity paying an initial rate of approximately $16/hour. A position description is below:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow up on outstanding insurance claims
· Post Payments
· Perform client maintenance
· Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary


QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong background in billing and accounts receivable
· Strong attention to detail
· Motivated self-starter
· 2-5 years of experience
· College Degree preferred
