Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with designated physicians and healthcare team members to provide medical care to an assigned caseload of outpatients with melanoma through shared and independent visits. Unscheduled or ''walk-in'' visits may also be integrated into the provider''s clinic visit schedule. Responsibilities include delivering the highest standard of care in the diagnosis and management of a respective population and participating in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum. Specific duties will include new patient visits for integration into the Center as well as routine follow-up, treatment clearance, and symptom management visits. The PA candidate must be a graduate from an accredited PA program, be NCCPA certified, hold a NYS license or be qualified for state licensure. Preferably, this candidate will have at least 2 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player, excellent communicator, proactive, and must also possess the ability to manage time and stress effectively as it pertains to patient care settings.
