Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
The Microbiology Lab is seeking an experienced laboratory technologist to be responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the laboratory in collaboration with the laboratory management team. Work with the laboratory management team to ensure the Quality System Essentials (QSE) are in place for all laboratory sections. The plan must comply with CLIA, the Joint Commission and New York State Department of Health regulations.
Bachelor's Degree (Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a human biological science) required, as is a minimum 5 years relevant experience (specifically indeveloping a Quality Management Plan for clinical laboratories).New York State Laboratory Technologist license required; ASCP certification preferred.
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
