Director of Development - Columbia University (New York, NY)

Incumbent will report to the Associate Dean for Development & Alumni Relations and will lead development efforts in specific geographic areas regionally and nationally. Incumbent will manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects; develop strategies and cultivate relationships that lead to solicitation and stewardship of major gifts and leadership Annual Fund gifts; participate in prospect assessment and assignment processes. Assist team efforts with Reunion and other major alumni events. Annually prepare objectives for the upcoming fiscal year. Requires a bachelor''s degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus five years of related experience.
