The Jr. Program Analyst will assist in the capture, scoping, and definition of system capabilities. The position requires an understanding of Scope and Requirements definition, the retail business model, and how technology can be leveraged to support retail business objectives. This individual will work with business partners, engineering, and subject matter experts to capture and document functional requirements for new capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Demonstrated broad merchandising knowledge of retail business model.

* Assist the IT team in management, prioritization, and project initiation for new business requests

* Support various business teams and IT sponsors to define and document the scope of new business processes and capabilities

* Assist business partners to gather and document business requirements

* Coordinate across IT personnel to define new solutions and capabilities that will meet approved business requirements

* Assist with the continued rollout of new functionality supporting architecture throughout the company.

* Partner with various business units in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved processes.

* Work with application development staff to coordinate the creation and management of new functionality.

* Assist the Project Managers and project team in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new functionality.

* Help to plan new projects including creating communication plans and developing project communications.

* Support definition of system requirements including documenting processes, business requirements and resulting technology needs.

* Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Education and Experience

* BA or BS in Related Retail or Technology competency

* Retail system experience preferred

* Business Analysis training/coursework a plus, but not mandatory

* Able to prepare and present information in business terms.

* Must be detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.

* Microsoft Office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Flexible approach to change, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, constantly seeks improvements and anticipating future needs.
