Manager (RES) Job ID #:4742 Location:New York, NY Functional Area:Direct Support - Entry Level Department:Residential Services Position Type:Full-time Education Required:GED or High School Diploma Experience Required:2 - 3 years Relocation Provided:No Position Description Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the facility to which he/she is assigned. Provides direct care supervision of direct care and support staff assigned to the facility under his/her jurisdiction. Under his/her supervision, collaborates with the management team in planning the individual program of services and care staff and assigns the tasks of each direct care staff member. Participates in comprehensive service planning activities with outside agencies for each resident under his/her jurisdiction. Assumes overall responsibilities for the smooth operation of the facility. Ensures that all departmental policies and procedures are followed in the facility to which he/she is assigned in the program. Attends, successfully completes, and conducts all necessary training programs as mandated by the assistant director. Other duties as required. Position Requirements High school education with AA or BA Preferred. Experience with MR/DD, excellent leadership skills & supervisory experience in residential setting, knowledge of OMRDD regulations. Valid NYS drivers license. AHRC is an EOE
