We, Help Link, are a family owned medical alert company established in 1976 that is looking for a field service technician to service the Suffolk county area.

Job Description:

•The first 2-4 months will be full time. After that it will be part time, on average 25 hours a week. At that time, some days may be a full day of work and some days there may be no work. It's all based on the need for service.
•Regular cleaning and programming of reused medical alert units and storing a few boxes of the units in your home. (Cleaning can be tedious and attention to detail is a must!)
•Occasional mail outs and drop off mail
•Installing, servicing and picking up of medical alert units in the client's home. No experience necessary. There will be training.
•Must return occasional emergency service phone calls and on occasion perform emergency service calls on weekends and holidays.
•Must be patient with seniors and be friendly.


•Must have a telephone land line to test the medical alert units
•Must have a computer
•Must have a car
•Must not have a criminal record and good driving record
•Must have room to store a few boxes of medical alert units
