Title: Senior Compensation Manager ID: HUM00001759 Description Primary Objective: To provide value-added consulting support on all areas of reward and recognition to a designated business unit/segment within the Americas region. Responsibilities include planning, design, implementation, and communication of compensation programs and initiatives within the context of Thomson Reuters s compensation strategy. Major Areas of Accountability: - Consult with HR and line managers to develop and implement reward initiatives that support goals and strategy of assigned businesses within overall compensation policies - Provide expert advice to stakeholders and line managers on all compensation programs, policies, structures, and benchmarking. - Manage multiple projects involving research and analysis - Manage all annual compensation activities (salary review, bonus payments - Evaluate current programs to determine competitive position and effectiveness; recommend improvements as needed - Monitor programs to ensure legal and regulatory compliance - May support a number of verticals on a global basis / Manage ad-hoc projects. - **************************** We are the leading source of intelligent information for the world's businesses and professionals, providing customers with competitive advantage. Qualifications Knowledge and Required Skills: - Bachelors degree preferably in Human Recourses Management, Business or any related field - 7 - 10 years total HR experience with at least 5 years specializing in compensation in diverse multinational environments, ideally but not necessarily in Information Solutions, High Tech, or Financial Services - Excellent understanding of local laws and regulations regarding compensation in countries across the Americas region - Experienced in the management of compensation benchmarking and job evaluation - Analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication skills, both written and spoken with the ability to interact with people at all levels in a complex matrix organization - Deep understanding of business - Proven capacity to deliver and work independently - Flexible mindset and problem solving attitude - Familiarity with multiple cultures and business practices a definite plus - Proficiency in Excel, Access, HR systems and other statistical tools - ******************** At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
