You are looking at a gorgeous 2012 Specialized Demo 8 II DH downhill & freeride mountain bike.

The frame is made from butted and shaped M5 aluminum with full sealed bearings at all pivot locations, a forged tapered head tube, and a ISCG 05 chain guide mount. The rear shock is Cane Creek Double Barrel coil with adjustable rebound and compression (both high and low speed). It provides 8" of drop eating travel. The fork is a Rock Shox Boxxer World Cup with 8" of air sprung travel, adjustable rebound (beginning & ending stroke) damping, adjustable high/low speed compression damping, and adjustable bottom out resistance. The headset is an integrated FSA sealed bearing unit. This frame is super strong and super smooth. The cockpit consists of an upgraded Bontrager Big Earl riser bar, SBC Grappler Lock-on grips, an upgraded Race Face Atlas Direct Mount stem, a SBC Demo saddle with hollow chromoly rails, and a Thomson Elite seatpost. The drive train consists of a SRAM X0 9 speed short cage rear derailleur, a SRAM X9 Trigger shifter, a BlackBox SRAM Descendant PF30 crankset with a SRAM PF30 DH internal bottom bracket, an upgraded full range SRAM PG-990 Red cassette, and a SRAM PC-971 chain. The 36 tooth Truvativ DH chainring is held in place by a custom Gamut chain guide. The wheels are built using custom DT Swiss F550 rims laced to SBC Hi Lo disc hubs with black DT Swiss Competition 2.0/1.8mm spokes and DT alloy nipples. The tires are upgraded 2.3" Butcher SXs front and rear. These wheels are setup tubelessly. The brakes are custom Avid Code X0s with carbon X0 levers, tool-less reach adjustment dials, tool-less adjustable Pad Contact, and 200mm front and 180mm rear rotors.
